Science Tests

The science tests are biology, chemistry, and physics.

Biology: The biology test is a comprehensive exam that covers topics such as cell structure and function, Mendelian genetics, evolutionary biology, ecological studies, plant and animal behaviors, and classification of organisms. It will have 50 questions with five answer choices each.

Chemistry: The chemistry test will cover general chemistry topics ranging from states of matter, periodic table basics, bonding, stoichiometry, and oxidation/reduction reactions to thermodynamics, reaction rates, electrochemistry, organic chemistry basics, and nuclear chemistry. All 50 questions will have five answer choices each. Calculators are allowed.

Physics: The physics test will cover both mechanics and electromagnetism topics such as the laws of motion, inertia, acceleration, force, angular momentum, gravity, electrical circuitry, magnetic fields, and electric/magnetic phenomenon. All 40 questions will have four answer choices each. Calculators are allowed.
